Nice additions to the rolling stock collection. I especially like the new tanker from Lima! The paint job on the old 57 (???) looks fantastic... nice change! Great video again, Paul!

Hi Anthony, I was looking for another Hopper and found one for sale with the Gas Tanker at a very good price. As you say great additions to the stock. The Loco with the new Livery is a Lima BR218, I was not happy with the Northern Belle colors I had painted it in so decided to change the colors as you saw. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏

Hi Paul, thats a nice rake of tankers and a nice new livery on your diesel. I,m looking for some more ICI wagons. I worked for them for 25 years. Thankyou butty, all the best. Carl

Hi Carl, Thanks for watching and commenting its most appreciated. I am collecting more of this type of Tanker, some more arriving this month. I think it was ICI in Cwmbran where I was part of the Crane Company that lifted towers back in the late 80s. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏

Hi Paul, great video 👍locos are good runners and very quiet 👍👌👏

Hi Windy, I am very happy how the new livery looks, much better than the old Northern Belle colors that were not correct. It does run quietly as does the Ludmini, the quieter the better for me. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Hi Paul, nice job on the livery mate, looks very neat and crisp. I like the view additions, I think I have a Butagas tanker around here somewhere too. The coal wagons are next level though, the detail by Roco and Flieschmann make them so realistic. I will have to go through my collection to see what I have got and give them a run. Steven.
@paulvozman8425 ай бұрын
Hi Steven, I use Vallejo paints which are great for Aircraft and Locos etc, the finish is matt which looks more authentic. I bought the two wagons very cheaply and got a bargain. The Fleischmann,Roco and Marklin wagons are highly detailed and all metal. They averaged 85 grams each which is more than some of my small Locos. I would imagine you have a huge collection in boxes and for sure you will have hoppers and Gas tankers. Be good to see more of your amazing stock it never stops amazing me. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

Good one Paul, great how you can get them to run so smoothly. 2 nice little freights there too.
@paulvozman8425 ай бұрын
Hi Tim, this Lima 218 was the first one I fitted a 6v CD Motor to some time ago, it makes a huge difference. The wagons were very cheap and in good condition. Cheers, Paul.👍👍👍

The new livery is looking great! The idea of adding lighting sounds grand. The concerted loco you featured second is looking amazing too! Nice mining them up side by side at the end!

Hi Anthony, thanks so much for watching, I really appreciate your kind comments. I have 3 Lima 218s two of them have lighting so I may put it in this one now it will be used more often. I am happy with the new livery its much better than before. The second Loco is one of my favorites it s a great runner .All the best, Paul.👍👍👍

Nice additions Paul, those tankers would be great for transporting custard in for the Dylington Custard Company. I really must get some yellow tankers or some cheap ones. I can have a go at painting up and putting Dylington Custard Company on the side. I'll have to have a look at the Doncaster show on Sunday. .....cheers James 🙂👍

Hi James, great idea using yellow tankers for the Custard. I hope you find some suitable ones on Sunday. Cheers, Paul. 👍👍🙏

Hi Paul, I adore hoppers. You have a few beautiful ones there! I find your Ludmini very inspiring, shorter models are great for tighter curves and I have quite a few of them. I also consider making shorter coaches... However I have no idea how to make a clean cut in the body work 😮 Your Ludmini is so perfectly shortened, I wonder how you did the cutting job? Greetings 🙋♂️ Erik
@paulvozman8425 ай бұрын
Hi Erik, I got the first Roco Hopper as part of a job lot and since then I have collected the others. I really like my Ludmini (your naming) its one of my best Locos for pulling and can run on all my tracks. Coaches are very difficult to shorten due to the windows, I tried do do one a long time ago and it was a disaster. I make very careful measurements and put masking tape around the Loco body to get straight lines. I actually use a hacksaw blade and gently cut along the edge of the tape. I allow a small amount for filing or sanding to make sure the two halves join together squarely. I havent used any filler yet but have bought some modellers filler incase I do another one in the future. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏

Hey Paul I love the new livery looks fantastic Paul Well done. I couldn't watch yesterday as was at hospital all bloody day.any ho great job the class 130 is running nice too Take care chap Cheers Mark

Hi Mark, I hope all is well, you deserve a break from Hospitals. I am happy how the Lima 218 turned out, Vallejo paints to the rescue. Its a great runner since stuffing a 6v CD motor in it some time ago. My Ludmini 130 - 20% cut out is one of my favorite Locos, it literally pulls like a train🥲. I need to slow down on collecting stock but cannot resist a bargain the Hopper and Gas Tanker were as cheap as chips. Try and watch my Sunday video, I think you will like it. Take care, all the best, Paul.👍👍👍🙏

Hello Paul a nice few more bargains there no doubt well done you :) I have managed to get a rake of 5 Lima Milk Tankers now.Mind you even some of those now have a stupid starting price on ebay!Take care Paul.
@paulvozman8425 ай бұрын
Hi Michael, I was looking for some Hoppers and found one with the Tanker and sold together at a bargain price. The Milk Tankers sound good bought as a rake of 5, I think rakes of the same wagons look good. I Like the Lima wagons but they can be a little light so sometimes I add some weights to make them more stable. Have a great weekend. Cheers, Paul.👍👍
@michaeldavies96005 ай бұрын
@@paulvozman842 Hi Paul yes i think the same way rakes of the same look better,although to see a rake of different companies coal or coke wagons is always a treat to.

Hi, Paul! Good enhancements on the locomotives, not to mention the smooth run, which is top quality, as usual. May I ask what type of paints do you use in repainting them? I would try such a thing (for the first time) and I do not want to use some improper paint, which would eventually go away on finger tips etc. The coal wagons are really cool, the little set is realistic and would be excellent looking with some steam German BRs, or even Diesels. Thanks for sharing the video and the news, have a super evening! / Chris

Hi Chris, I am very happy how the Lima 218 runs with its 6v CD motor and how it looks with its new livery. I use Vallejo Acrylic Paints and have found them to be the best for my Aircraft and Locos. I hand paint them after wiping the bodies over with Valleyo Acrylic Thinners it takes off any greasy finger prints and gives the surface a key for the paint. These paints dry fairly quickly and are thin enough to reveal all details, even if a second coat is applied. Get some good quality small brushes it really helps. Take Care. Cheers, Paul.🚂🖌👍👍
