at the start of the video your location was reveled and you didn't know how. The players being invaded can use the phones immediately when they get invaded. The first 2 uses also don't counter-locate them like it does when invaders use it.

Have you played the game on Authentic Difficulty? You still get a small line at top for wind and side line for drop but they don't connect and won't show red zero in. But kill cam will trigger if its a fatal shot

This is actually a very unique gamemode. Reminds of Souls invasion, but here hosts have a distinctive objective to sabotage rather than just run around and kill enemies.

I wish killing invaders, would also count as 'Player kills' for invasions. Cause just yesterday, I was playing a map that lasted 2 hours and 15 minutes. And I ended up getting invaded like 5 times throughout. And yet, I ended up killing 4 of those 5 people, without ever actually meeting them face to face. Cause I booby trapped everywhere I had already visited :P and so they would just just down a backroad to check a place, without thinking, and boom, mine in the middle of the path they didn't see cause 'Who would place a mine there'? Well I did :P

it's not that they're necessarily getting mad, as an invader you get the same message no matter why they leave. I've been invaded, realized I had the setting on, die, deny the rematch and turn the setting off. sometimes I wanna pvp, and sometimes I just wanna play the story.

I've always loved it when you turn up in a JackFrags vid, but I had a sudden hankering for Sniper Elite invasions and I instantly spotted a familiar name in the results and realised I should have subbed to you ages ago. The effort you put into these is both really impressive and, somehow, super old-fashioned by modern KZbin standards. Playing on both sides of the coin is interesting. They get different parameters and abilities. You want to hit ‘Menu’ (pause) as soon as you spawn in - you’ll find plenty folk have completed it but playing it on a harder or sometimes easier setting. The weird ones are the custom settings; typically x10 bino but has the drop diamond on. Highly suspect are the ones you can see have completed objectives but not exfiltrating , and often mine trap dead bodies (which you can defuse).

I once invaded the fourth mission where the enemy player had practically cleared out the entire map of soldiers so it became essentially a whole game of hunting each other, utilising traps and changing up tactics each time to try and catch the other, we redueled three times with the score 3-0 in my favour, but I quit the game after the third win for his sake. Fairly certain it was likely someone who wanted to recreate the old Sniper Elite 1 style of sniper hunting when it was two players in a sandbox map hunting each other down

So fun thing, the thing you did at 6:40 where you down the one guy and wait for the other to go revive him is an actual sniper strat. Basically when fighting multiple targets snipers usually wont go for the kill on their first target and instead will aim to incapacitate them, specifically in an open area so more targets will expose themselves to try and aid their fallen. If a solider is killed immediately theres no reason to stick your head out for a dead guy. But an alive comrade who is yelling for help will likely get said help, allowing the sniper to either incapacitate more, or kill the people who try to help

one of the things i noticed about the kill cams is it's not actually the shot that you fire. It makes a new shot that's a direct line from you to the enemy. You can test this by getting a really slow velocity and shooting a super distant target. The actual shout would be a huge rainbow, but the killcam will be a flat trajectory. It's a real bummer, because if you equip something like the DL carbine from the DLC and give it the lowest muzzle velocity, you're practically dropping the bullet vertically on distant targets, and i'd love to see the cam go wayyyy up then wayyyy down lol
