Tomos A35 65cc Engine Build

My friend and I built a street 65cc setup for his Tomos A35. Quick acceleration, decent top speed, relatively quiet exhaust, average fuel consumption and best of all a very fun driving experience.
Setup:
Airsal 65cc cylinder
High pressure head
Dellorto SHA 15mm jet 68
RS cigar exhaust (quick & quiet)
Gear ratio 26/26
Stock ignition
Average fuel consumption: 1 liter +- 25km

nice build,that angle flange gave slight weak perfomance which i noticed when change to shorter straight giving better acceleration,also put some aftermarket exhaust and will be beast,i love your video keep uploading :)

It is a aftermarket exhaust it is called a RS sigar

I have chain saws bigger than that lol , an orange peel texture promotes boundary layer separation , hence faster air flow knowledge is power .

RS sigaar zeker mooie uitlaat! Goede ervaringen mee op 65cc! Ik zou voor de zekerheid wel een temperatuur sensor monteren. Ik reed zelf met 26/28 en dan redde ik het niet om zomers vol uit gas te rijden voor langere tijd.

@@jannovangarderen4919met beetje rond rijden word het blok rond de 130 a 150 graden afhankelijk van de rij wind. Als ik dan een klein stukje vol uit toeren rij krabbelt hij vrij vlot naar de 180.

Thank you for providing the Setup info details with fuel consumption. I am interested how you got the transmission to work / shift so smoothly. I noticed the absence of backlash and noise from transmission when backing of the throttle.

You're welcome. It's a completely stock clutch setup. Only change is that I have shortened the springs.

past wel, maar de poortjes zijn klein standaard zoals je ziet. er valt veel flow te winnen als je ze op maat maakt met de cilinder

ik had de standaard veren overgespoten. met tape de zuiger afplakken en dan kun je hem gewoon overspuiten.

@@mehdiman9859 clutch won't be a problem with just a kit swap. shorten the springs by 5-10mm and you are good.

Try removing the restrictions in the air box and in the intake. If those are already gone you could try a different carb, 65cc kit maybe, and a better exhaust, that would really make it faster. Also the gearing can be changed!

I've shortened the springs with about 5mm to make the centrifugal clutch grab at a higher rpm range. I've got the spring back on the clutch using a vice and two screwdrivers.

Ik zou een andere uitlaat kopen man, ziet er nog een beetje tam uit voor zon kit en carb. Terugloop of circuit doen het vaak goed qua vermogen🙃

I haven't installed my kit on my Tomos yet, but I noticed that it's necessary to expand the intake on the A5 block. I'm wondering why this is necessary and why the kit isn't directly compatible with that block. I thought everything would be simpler and more straightforward, so I'm curious about the reason for this additional adaptation. If you have the time or information about it, please share it with me.

ja wordt tijd he. sinds die is vastgelopen staat hij in de schuur voor het framewerk. heb weinig tijd op het moment en het is erg koud voor het spuiten van verf dus ik heb er niet zoveel aan gedaan. de komende maanden wil ik hem helemaal afmaken dus dan komt er weer meer!
