I am a very firm, Trump supporter and highly focused on Republican versus Democrat policies that affect our financial future and our freedom future. This KZbin video has kind of shaken me up a bit. I am 65 years old and come from a place of… Let’s just call it wisdom. However, if there’s many in this young generation that want these handouts and forgiveness, who am I to say no? as long as they realize it will come with great inflation, I must just say… So be it My husband and I are OK financially… So if the Democrats get in office… I just need to turn very intense focus to protecting my son and my great nieces and nephew. They will live in that world of inflation or hyper inflation. I need to work very hard on protecting them.

The issue of youth being so far Left (namely women) is a combination of not being taught history, being taught to hate their county and themselves + baby boomers voting themselves all kinds of benefits and leaving the tab to the younger generation. Massively deficit spending will cause societal unrest inevitably. Unfortunately instead of wanting a return to free market capitalism (not cronie capitalism + increasing voting of free goodies last few decades) they're doubling down on even bigger government and central planning. Alas here we are in the 4th turning.

It's also worth remembering that Danielle favored Nikki Haley, the famous neoliberal & neocon (warmonger). Curious there's no discussion on how war, including a nuclear war, affects economies.... So anything on this channel related to politics take w/a grain of salt, including using a biased ABC poll to illustrate anything. That said, inflation is coming either way and things are too far gone for Trumpian policies to stop it (although under Harris it'll be worse). So doing whatever we can for protection is simply wise.

Seems like she's been wrong a lot in her guesses. She's been calling for a recession for a long time & we still don't have concrete evidence that we are in one or are going to be in one anytime soon.

I don't remember her putting a time line on her predictions, which means that she hasn't been wrong. The longer it takes for the economy to contract, the deeper it is going to be. To me, that has always been her point.

@TOMinPDX 20 сағат бұрын
@@norrispg4212 Well back in 2022 she was saying a recession was a foregone conclusion. How much time do you give someone who says that? Years? Also this summer she said the recession began in Oct 2023. She's constantly criticised the Fed & said a huge recession is around the corner but it never comes. Maybe her timing is off.
@norrispg4212
@norrispg4212 14 сағат бұрын
@@TOMinPDX Obviously, you don't know how recessions are measured or the time frame required. If it happens quicker than that, why does it take our federal government, with all of its resources, well over a year to acknowledge one after it begans? She cited the Mckelvey Rule as evidence that we had entered one, which i believe we have. A better question you should be asking of your government is why does it take them so long to acknowledge one.
@TOMinPDX
@TOMinPDX 8 сағат бұрын
@@norrispg4212 Yeah I'm in no way defending the government & their lies. There have been calls for a recession for years, especially since the lockdowns & people predicteding full blown recessions/ depressions but lets face it they haven't been right. Lots of analysts/experts were adamant in 2022 for a recession by year end and when that didn't happen they pushed it back to 2023 & it didn't happen then either. Now we are getting close to the end of 2024 & maybe a recession will happen but the recession predictions have been wrong so far. I don't trust the government at all & they obviously fudge the figures but I am doubtful we are in the kind of recession that Danielle has been predicting & that they are able to cover it up that much. You can't keep calling for a recession & then push it back every six months because it hasn't started, but maybe it has this time 🤷‍♂️

Very interesting hypothesis about the reason that the level of initial unemployment claims is being suppresed. It seems credible to me that most people getting laid off would opt for gig jobs rather than hit the unemployment lines simply because unemployment insurance payouts are essentially the same as 15 years ago, and yet the cost of living has skyrocketed. Excellent. 👏👏👏

Just curios what interest rate my grandchildren are being charged for national debt. Variable, current set fed rate ? Who negotiated this deal
@vnevala
@vnevala Күн бұрын
It's not just the debt, it's how they keep spending. Interest on unpaid principal keeps compounding, whatever the rate. The only solutions are to slash spending, or cause enough growth to cover any new spending choices. If new spending itself created growth that would be fine, but our idiot politicians are wedded to giveaways with no ROI, or war spending which is more destructive than growth-producing.

Keeping stock markets high is just another inflation point, something else the working class can’t afford. Inflation over the four year period along with the buying power destruction of the dollar means no interest rate decrease will make any difference. Wages have to come up at least thirty percent. Just to get back to even! We’re in recession now, moving fast to worse.

The only thing to say about which political supporters are "prepared" for an opposite political outcome, the pollster is ABC/Ipsos, famously partisan and which certainly wildly underestimates Dem "preparedness" if Trump wins. One only has to look at ABC's fact-checking failures (confirmed by CNN & NYT), or at minimum, at the incidence of violence by Trump-haters vs zero violent incidents of violence against Harris supporters. It should go without saying but I'll still remind, words or rhetoric are not violence. Violence is actions.

So true about everything ❤ I worry about my kids and family in the same way . As far as handouts go , I feel the government is going to waste trillions of dollars so they should give struggling families help . Just my opinion. I’d rather my kids get some money over Ukraine or Israel . How BILLIONS have we given them already? Where is the American working class bail out ? Because they need it , we need something to change. Me and my wife are working 7 days a week and she’s doing 10ths days just to pay bills Zero extra for savings. So it really sucks and if not for my children. I work quite. We weren’t meant to be debt/bill slaves 😮😮😢 it’s hard really hard . Your kids are VERY lucky to have you preparing for them ❤❤❤ stay safe and take care ❤of them
