I've sadly only found them in Covid times and at a point in my life when I moved away from where I was meeting with friends regularly. But I'm definitely keeping them in mind for whenever a bunch of people wants to be silly together in a more organised manner.

Speaking of battles named after places they weren't fought, there's the example of the Battle of Bunker Hill, from the American Revolution, which was actually fought on Breed's Hill, as the American Militia moved during the night and dug in on the wrong hill. The British sportingly refused to take advantage of this mistake, and attacked frontally anyway.
