Nice job, "Dad"! I am planning on modifying my Bunn so I can easily tell if the switch is on. The reason for this is because I keep mine on a timer so it heats the water just prior to the morning brew. I make coffee every other morning. I just check the power light and carafe first. I need a brighter indicator light. I would love to disassemble the unit to do this, if you know how. Thanks for your help!

Hello! Would you say this coffee maker is manageable for someone with physical disability? I have had 2 coffee makers of the same brand crap out on me in 2 years. Looking for something better, but I probably would be unable to disassemble the machine at all for cleaning, but I CAN descale. Is it necessary to take it apart? Do you need to take the tank off the back at all for cleaning? Any advice appreciated. Thank you so much!

Yes, this coffee maker does not have alot of moving parts and very easy to use and descale.

@@JustADad thank you so Much! That was one of the reasons I didn’t like my Keurig. Too many parts to remove for cleaning, needles to clean etc and the water tank was big Easy for me to get on and off. Can I brew one pot at a time with this machine, or do I need to have it full at all times for the heating?

yes, always make sure the back water tank is full of water and ready to use. before you turn it back on.
