I know this was 5 years ago but thanks. After much searching this is by far the clearest explanation of what you are trying to achieve... and I fly mode 2. How you ever ended up on mode 4 with inverted throttle I can't imagine!!!

Almost everyone at my first club flew mode 4 with reversed throttle, so I learned that way. Only later I found out almost nobody flies that way…

Sven Bardos sounds like a plan! So do you want to transition from upright to inverted spin, get spins flatter etc?

Sometimes knife edge spin works for me on other days it just doesn't. I think I haven't understood for what I should watch out to make it work every time. Transitions between spins is always a bit awkward for me. I spent a lot of time on the sim to figure out how to do clean transitions. Every hint would be highly appreciated :-)

Nice ... but I can't get how you fly mode 4 with an inverted throttle, just blows he away.

Brad worm well they started with mode 1, then invented mode 2 etc. We’re now at mode 4 (version 4.0 if you will). The only thing you can improve is reverse the throttle. Once someone comes up with mode 5 I’ll be on board, I’m modern like that :)
