@@theequalizer3330 Apart from the raised body Land Rover it didn’t look like the others were exceeding 30 mph, how many children are going to be playing inside the water..I don’t actually know this place so not 100% what the limit is but suspect it’s 30, as for these cops sitting there waiting to catch people out knowing they might speed up approaching the water (which by the way is the wrong approach) , cops always look for easy targets and as far as I could see these were petty minded..

Checking brakes after going through a Ford are days gone by when cars had all round drum brakes allowing water to enter the drum and take a few taps on the brakes to dry them off . Disc brakes dry off almost immediately due to heat of the discs.

II don't know why but I love watching these vids especially the ones where drivers think their bog standard motor is some sort of mega fording meanie boat thing that will surf effortlessly through 2 feet of water but it's pretty obvious that some of the driving is actually dangerous and perhaps plod have got to act. Instead of parking your double crewed, marked, expensive motor where it can be seen and chasing the odd miscreant why not just station one guy on the bridge with a camera and send the NIP letters out in the post, which would be a great deal cheaper and more effective.

The first bronze Ford pickup wasn't exactly speeding so I am not sure why the Police but their blue light on him. Compared to others he seemed to be driving quite considerately. There was some splash, but not excessive. It didn't drown anyone.

Well, there's a safe speed, and a 'driving like you want to be pulled over' speed. There's also a 30mph limit on that road, it's illegal to splash pedestrians, and quite a few attention seekers do like to make sure they go on the wrong side of the road. But apart from that...

The first car has no front plate which is probably why he/she/it got pulled over. The 2nd one splashed a lot more (4wd) . The 3rd one (noisy car) was going too fast and deserved a pull over . They should be targeting the ones going fast, causing excessive splash , blasting their horns or hanging out of their vehicle like the guy standing out of the sunroof.

If there is people on the bridge you cant splash them, same with puddles unless there is no way to avoid it. If you are a driver, you are a bad driver, you don’t even seem to no the Highway Code.
