Bit of a Mickey Mouse run from the Black one (he jokes) in places. Yes several years ago a part built was up for sale for ages... And ages. 2016. and we were down for the Bluebell so as she was almost a Brighton engine I took the plunge and requested. The builder was friends with Adam Cro's Grandfather for many years. Superbly built and inspiring when another came on the market later. They are easier in pairs. Also came with about 400 photos. We added another 200 from a Great Central visit later in the year. The highlight being invited on board the 8F making up the very last LAST LAST train exactly 50 years to the hour on the line. 1966 being a happy happy sad year for some. Lovely to see you back on your feet Tom. David and Lily.

The footrests work well on the BR Class 2, 2 - 6 - 0.

They did. We didn’t really try the one on the parcels van but was happy with the class 2. Meant to mention it on the day, but forgot.

No, that’s just a feature of this loco, it’s always done it, as a result of the power from the cylinders and it being set up floating on the springs.

@@TomsWorkshop42 When I done steam on the underground funnily enough a Underground staff member said something similar. I was like nooooo its out side cylinder engine and we are giving it the beans from standing start!
