Couldn't help to see you've been traveling in Mexico, caught a glimpse of the Mexican Subway card. Nice. I just ordered this thing so let's see how it works for me, saw many videos and I'm almost sure it will be just the right sling for my specific use case. Good review.

It's a perfect little bag if your gear fits. Sometimes I carry a little more so I also just picked up the larger 3.5 version to test as well. I've been to Mexico a few times, just went again to Guanajuato and Queretaro in September, love the central Mexican highlands, so many cool cities!

@@OneBagTravels It will probably fit, i don't have any weird shaped EDC items and if I do need to bring some odd duck with me, I just bring a big bag. Keys, wallet, phone, tissues and maybe some knife of candy and that's it. this thing will work and when I just need a little more room then my bigger Aer slings will be perfect for that. Mexico is beautiful, I'm not saying that just because I'm Mexican haha but it is.

This one checks a lot of boxes! If it had removable straps would insta-buy. I find I'm liking slings that can dual as tech pouches for packability.
@OneBagTravels4 ай бұрын
That's a good feature indeed, but sometimes the aesthetic can look more like a pouch with straps attached rather than a sling. Do you have any good slings you like with removable straps?

I'd recommend the Pakt Everyday 3L Sling, it's pricey though

Thanks for the video! Does the back zipper pocket fit a phone?
@OneBagTravels3 ай бұрын
Depends on the phone. A Google Pixel 8 doesn't fit, but a Pixel 2 fits. Max length needs to be under about 6" to fit.

Thanks for another detailed review! Been looking out for a review on this. Seems like the size I'm looking for. Question, what is the black travel wallet you show at 3:19? Also, I'm looking for a passport holder that isn't too bulky if you have any recommendations? I like the look of the Bellroy travel wallet but the price is ridiculous
@OneBagTravels4 ай бұрын
That's the Chums Surf Short wallet, best minimalist travel wallet ever. I don't have anything fancy for a passport holder. I mostly use the Eagle Creek Hidden Wallet. It's not going to win any design awards but it's super light and holds wallet plus extra cards, cash etc. Can be put on a belt too if you want to hide it but I usually just carry it like it is.

Thank you for the review. How much inches is the bag? Also could you do a video comparing this bag to the regular tomtoc slingbag. Would realy appreciate it!
@OneBagTravels3 ай бұрын
The dimensions are 8.5” x 5” x 2.75", I like the sling so if I have time I'll do a comparison.

Great video! Do you think that a Kindle Paperwhite 5 will fit in the main compartment ?
@OneBagTravels4 ай бұрын
Maybe. I looked up the dimensions, 4.9" x 6.9". It should fit lengthways no problem, but that's almost exactly the width measurement, so it would be extremely tight, like you might have to fight it to get the zipper shut.

I use the chrome kadet sling, the chrome bags are overpriced but I love the buckles...I think hex makes better priced options

I've tried the Hex but not the Kadet, like the look of Chrome bags but the buckles can be a little bulky sometimes.

Get the T32 instead. It's designed for hip carry, but still works as a sling. Same 1.5L volume and pocket design
