There's not a religious bone in my body, but the image of Mary finding her son on the cross always crushes me. My heart goes out to parents everywhere who have lost a child, or have to see their child suffer. And I think how even when we're grown men, you could be the messiah himself but to a loving mother you never quite stop being her little baby.

Reflect on eternal life🙏 Life can’t be just looked at from a limited perspective of our brief time on earth! Time to focus on the promises of Jesus and seek to live with him eternally🙏 We all have religious inclinations so stop denying them?

The Three Marys' Lament IThe Lament at Calvary) Peter,Apostle, Did you see my fair love? woe is me and woe is me! I saw him a moment ago, get tortured by the guard woe is me and woe is me! Who is that fine man on the cross of Passion? woe is me and woe is me! Do you recognize him, your son, little Mother? woe is me and woe is me! Is that the little son who was nursed at Mary's breast? woe is me and woe is me! Is that the little son who was born in a stable? woe is me and woe is me! Is that the little son whom I carried for three seasons? woe is me and woe is me! Dear little son your mouth and little nose are cut, woe is me and woe is me! Bare nails were put through his feet, and through his hands, woe is me and woe is me! A spear was put through his lovely breast. woe is me and woe is me! Caoineadh na dTrí Muire A Pheadair, a Aspail, An bhfaca tú mo ghrá geal? Óch óchón agus óchón-ó! Chonaic mé ar ball é, gabh chéasadh ag an ngarda. Óch óchón agus óchón-ó! Cé hé an fear breá sin Ar Chrann na mPáise? Óch óchón agus óchón-ó! An é n-aithníonn tú Do Mhac, a Mháthrín? Óch óchón agus óchón-ó! An é sin an Maicín? A hoileadh in ucht Mháire? Óch óchón agus óchón-ó! An é sin an Maicín? A rugadh insan stábla? Óch óchón agus óchón-ó! An é sin an Maicín? A d’iompair mé trí ráithe? Óch óchón agus óchón-ó! A Mhicín mhúirneach, Tá do bhéal ‘s do shróinín gearrtha, Óchón agus óchón-ó! Cuireadh tairní maola trína chosa ‘s trína lámha, Óch óchón agus óchón-ó! Cuireadh an tsleá trína bhrollach álainn. Óch óchón agus óchón-ó! Óch óchón agus óchón-ó The power of this song is it's simplicity: a mother's love,no greater power on Earth.

It is organised by music teachers on a school by school basis these days, dependent on student participation. And since Irish was recognised as an EU language it has seen a resurgence, with colleges teaching it across the world. There are gaeltachts in Canada, Russia, Denmark and some Slavic countries. But it's largest rise has been in Northern Ireland.

Throughout Ireland these sacred songs were felt to function both as prayers and as direct substitutes for the caoineadh ('keening', women's funeral lament) which was suppressed by the Church. There were also triple aspects to the previous Celtic deities.
