The song is pretty damn close to perfect. No one can be certain what happens to our being when the spark of existence is over. Beautifully written, sung and performed. Close to a perfect damn song. Thanks Iris.

The best description of her voice is a single word - pure. When she sings, it's like stepping out of a shower fresh and clean.

And is also an absolute gent. I have been lucky enough to be in a session or two with them and he does not do solos are due all of these variations and he is in a session. He simply plays the music the way the rest of the musicians want to play it. He will only play a solo if pushed. An absolute gent.

Dylan admitted that he was inspired by Irish Balladers. So it seems like Irish singers cover him so easily because he is part of their soul. Dylan is a Saint in Ireland.

Where in hell can you go Far from the things that you know Far from the sprawl of concrete That keeps crawling it's way About a thousand miles a day Take one last look behind Commit this to memory and mind Don't miss this wasteland This terrible place When you leave Keep your heart off of your sleeve Motherland Cradle me, close my eyes Lullaby me to sleep Keep me safe, lie with me Stay beside me, don't go Don't you go Oh, my five & dime queen Tell me what have you seen The lust and the avarice The bottomless, the cavernous greed Is that what you see? Oh, Motherland Cradle me, close my eyes Lullaby me to sleep Keep me safe, lie with me Stay beside me, don't go It's your happiness I want most of all And for that I'd do anything at all Oh, mercy me If you want the best of it Or the most of it all If there's anything I can do at all Now come on, shot gun bride What makes me envy your life Faceless, nameless, innocent Blameless and free What's it like to be? Oh, Motherland Cradle me, close my eyes Lullaby me to sleep Keep me safe, lie with me Stay beside me, don't go Don't go
