I love when a lesson comes along that I didn't know I needed. This was a great one to share!! To answer the question from the end of the video, I am learning Ukrainian for a few reasons. One, I really enjoy learning new languages. Always have. Two, I love to listen to Ukrainian. It is truly one of the most beautiful languages to hear. Three and most importantly, I particularly enjoy knowing that each and every one of us who learns Ukrainian is helping to prove that Ukraine will not be silenced. We can all stand up in defiance of that wretched bunker troll in the kremlin. Україна назавжди! Героям слава!!

I am learning Ukrainian, because my grandparents immigrated from there a long time ago, and I remember my mother and grandmother speaking. I am sad they did not teach me much before they passed, but I had the great fortune of visiting twice in 2021, seeing Kiev, Kharkiv, and Odessa. I met some great friends there, whom I met online and I still converse with them. But my conversational understanding needs a lot of work, and I try every day to understand more.... Interesting that your grandparents are from Ternopil area. Three of my wife's great grandparents came from south of Ternopil but are of Polish ancestry. Three of mine are from that area but are Ukrainian. My one grandfather's came from Lemko area of Poland. That dialect I do not know

I am learning Ukrainian because I love the language, my friends there and the country itself! I plan to live there someday! I recently came back from a mission trip to Lviv in March!! When I set out to learn an automobile repair task the first thing I look for is how to make it worse and then make sure not to do that. I would like to see a video of words or sentence construction that are close to impolite words or phrases. Words that are easy to mistake for rude words and to pronounce them correctly. Слава нації

I'm learning because I'm travelling there often delivering cars for the army. I'm desperate for something to listen to on the long journeys in the car. I used to have Michel Thomas Spanish CDs which I loved. I need the equivalent for Ukrainian but I can't find anything. You are my Ukrainian language Encyclopedia, you have the most grammar content and I Iike your sense of humor and want to see more of it. I have a question.....your manner of speech feels North American. Do you have relatives or friends from over here that you picked up this style from. The reason I'm studying Ukrainian, it is a way of showing my support for you and your country. I have been studying Ukrainian for 8 months now it is hard for someone 73 years old but i won't give up. Don't you give up either, we need you! Have you ever thought of on line live teaching. I find the hardest thing to is to actually speak Ukrainian .....I freeze then i can' remember a single word.

Do a lesson on collective nouns please. This is giving me problems. Some are dealt with as singular and others plural to conjugate verbs. Eg family is singular in Ukrainian but plural in English.
