I know someone in this exact situation whose husband randomly quit on her after getting pregnant with their second child. It's devastating because they were inseparable at the start. I think I have a marriage phobia now because these men we fall for turn into people we would've never attached ourselves to. No amount of vetting can protect you from a man who randomly changes on you. It's terrifying

Thiisss, you're absolutely right. Sending my love and prayers to your friend who has experienced this. It's a constant reminder that we truly only have control over ourselves, people are free to do whatever they want. Ugh I can't even imagine what that feels like. Is there even real closure for a situation like that?? Insane.

I totally understand what that women who’s husband disappeared. I kind of had a similar situation with my ex last year, he just left to his country and never spoke to me again, I would call and text and he wouldn’t answer. It’s a painful and confusing feeling, and it leaves you with a whole lot of abandonment and attachment issues

Great conversation! The idea of a man ghosting is a terrifying reality cause women are always left with the burden, but what these men sow they will definitely reap.

That dilemma said he told her a month before she sent the dilemma, that guy is shadey, his sneaky link told him from August and he decided to keep it from her until he was sure. He wasn't thinking about her he was thinking about himself

So for the situation at 26:10, I went through the exact same thing. Had two kids with my former husband as well, I need to write a book because a lot more happened as well. However, in NY at least, you still have to show the court that you tried to find the person you're trying to divorce. I actually had to wait a long time before I could find my husband and actually get him to sign because despite filing for abandonment, the court required that I do my "due diligence " in trying to find him before we could be officially divorced. Wild world.

Hi Courtney, the term I believe you were looking for is AWOL (absent without leave). To go AWOL within a functional marriage is truly heartbreaking...

Sisters, I love yall but I have to disagree with the advice on the first dilemma as someone who has gone through a very similar situation.😢 Out of all the parties in this very convoluted circumstance, sis you’re the only one with the ability and freedom to leave. I think you should. Regardless of what their relationship was, what it will be moving forward will take some time to settle and be defined. That process is LONG and feelings will be involved because they share something they both love dearly. Especially if it’s both of theirs first child. Additionally, there will be pressure whether internally or externally for the two of them to at least attempt at having the traditional nuclear family and that will be a thought especially considering they had some sort of history. I honestly think it’ll be a mess and you it’s not your burden to stay and pick up the pieces. If it’s meant to be, he’ll come back once the situation is more settled. But as they saying goes, “if the child’s under 1, he ain’t done.”

Lastly, Plan B doesn’t work if you’re already ovulating, so Miss Baby Mommas could’ve taken it but it didn’t work 🙁

I heavily agree with this, especially given that the woman is 24. There’s too much uncertainty in this situation. She should leave
