They need to make the fretboard protector and notched straight edge for bass guitars after all every band that i know of has at least one of each.

WARNING... I nearly cut my knuckle off with this thing when my hand grazed it on my repair bench. The edges are super sharp at .004" thick... it is truly a razor! MUSIC NOMAD NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM BY ROLLING THE EDGES OR TAKE IT OFF THE MARKET. MN won't even acknowledge my calls or emails. They are looking at legal problems! ADDENDUM TO THIS POST... good to know. maybe de-burr it a bit with some sandpaper or put some tape as a barrier on the edge? it needs to be thin to work right but i can see how that can cause challenges

@@PorterPickups Thanks for your suggestions. My goal was to have MN address this issue and make it non-hazardous before someone (besides me) gets hurt. Since it's marketed to the general public, it sorta needs to be safe. Alas Music Nomad called me today to say they made some changes to make it less of a hazard in several areas. I'm so glad they're listening. IMO that's the mark of a company worth doing business with. They're sending me one of the new safer guards as soon as production starts. I hope this helps everyone.
