I have the iRig 2 , and it's never worked on my iPhone 8 plus .... It works ok on iPad Tho 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do you update your iPhone? I am using my 15 Pro Max with my Scarlett 2i2. Maybe sell that dongle and just get a normal usb interface?
