I'm very eclectic, I like everything from 335 in fusion to the roots of the Rolling Stones, including the glitter of the 80s lol... I just don't like guitars that sounds like a bee! lol

I had not even considered modeling sounds for use with my pedal since I stay in the box primarily - but this shows it can be done and with almost no latency. Thanks for the vid!

Cool demo. Thank you. Sounds like I could capture my Boogie Express 5/25 this way (unless someone has already done that). I love my actual amp and would love to record with it via a plug-in!

Tonex is so good.... And as far as amps and signal chains you don't actually own, There's some amazing third party captures! It really can capture the feel of an amp on the edge of breakup..... Responds to dynamics and volume really, really well.... Works well with pedals. You just have to watch your gain staging. Really cool idea to capture complex processing in Tonex!

I do wonder if anyone knows if the Tonex app for this is screenreader accessible, like with voiceover on ios, or TalkBack (the screenreader name) on Android type devices or, Narrator or Jaws, with keyboard commands or scripts?

So total new question here. Would this mean if you say created a signal chain you really liked in Amplitude 5 max with the amp, cab, mics, pedals and so on you could "export" that to a DAW and then use this method to capture that to the ToneX pedal?
@IvanEinsteinАй бұрын
Any idea how to capture a bass midi plugin tone? Mine is umansky and would love that tone live.
@trixlee51025 ай бұрын
Thanks. I've been trying to figure out whether I could use my AVID HD I/O to capture (either through use of Pro Tools or separately with Core Audio drivers) and skip the Capture Box or other interface. It looks like from your video that it's possible?
@IgoRthethrasherАй бұрын
I've tried to reproduc this using the Reaper DAW, and my MOTU M4 interface in the Windows environment and it didn't worked for me. Basically when I reproduce the routing, no signal was transferred from the VST plugin i tried to replicate to any other tracks. The signal was only on tracks where a choose input 1 which where I connected the guitar directly.
@vanfox8160Ай бұрын
@Producelikeapro Im trying to do this exact thing with just my helix lt routing capability via usb. Any ideas why after I complete the capture the capture has no sound at all?

Five string bass is your problem. Go back to four string bass as nature intended and all your problems will disappear 🙂
@sixstringalliance44176 ай бұрын
With the Bass now competing with extra low end information since the vinyl days when that was wiped off it's not surprising people use 5 strings, especially in Metal or modern Pop and Hip Hop
@Producelikeapro6 ай бұрын
@@sixstringalliance4417 very true! The competition in low end is insane now with programming, keys. low tuned guitars and the ability to reproduce extreme low end in the digital domain!
@terran2365 ай бұрын
Why would you limit yourself? More notes more fun. More rich overtones. And you can "feel" low tuned bass playing on a good system. 80s music sounds thin compared to today's.
