Thanks for your videos! Fantastic! I would like some advice from you, what do you think of the Tonex paired with a Boss gx 100? Do you think it's better than the Headrush core as a sound? Do you also have a video? Thanks for a reply

Thanks for asking. I never used any Boss devices except Katana. I don't know how it will react as in a fx loop. But In my preference I won't go for Headrush core. Though I really don't know about the latency issues in patch changes. In mx5 it takes a noticeable latency to change a preset. So I am sorry can't give you a better answer. Take care. Thanks a lot for the explanation! Just wondering if you find a way to use all the presets from Tonex pedal in Headrush MX5? I find out that the Midi Program is limited to 127 and this means we can only reach to Bank 42 - Preset 1 on the Tonex, did you find a way to reach to the Bank 49 - Preset 3 (last one from Tonex Pedal)? I'm struggling with this!

Thanks for asking. As TONEX manual suggests that we need to change CC value in mx5. But I don't know how to do that. If you can find a way around, you just need to change it to 0 to 1.

I have a MX5 and a Tonex but for now only using the MX5. Just wondering: why should you use the MX5 to control the presets of the Tonex? You could use the knobs on the Tonex to change the presets/Amps and use the knobs of the MX5 to add extra effects. That would make more sense?! I don't see the added value of the midi connection...

As I explained in the video that I want to change the whole presets including TONEX and it's associated pre and post fx. That's the only reason I used MX5. But now I am experimenting on using TONEX alone as its new firmware update includes all the pre and post fx I need.

Thanks for asking. You might use it as an expression pedal, but if you want to use it to change preset or banks, it won't do that. You need a midi footswitch to do that.

I am curious why you would not justg get an HX Effects. Little more expensive than the MX5 but you can pick them up used at near the new price of an MX5

Great suggestion. Yes, that crossed my mind. But it doesn't have it's own expression pedal which was kind of important for me. And I was just curious to try something new. Thanks
