Bro when Punk is playing good, nobody in America is beating this dude outside of Du and even that's in Punk's favor. That said, Noah switching to Akuma was pretty much handing Punk a free win he did not have ANY strategy for Cammy with the Akuma. Also I gotta admit this run was impressive, Punk had his power knocked out by Hurricane Helene, then had to fly over for SFL, then fly to Atlanta, and even after a week+ without really playing, he destroyed everyone in a semi major with this win in Dreamhack Atlanta.

I feel like a lot of Noah's playstyle is blowing all his drive then getting aggressive when they try and punish the burnout

He is insanely good at anti airing so people usually don't try to jumping get in's. Also another problem with dealing with him is he generally doesn't care. He might try to get in 5 consecutive time with drive rush and get punished every single time for it but for the 6th time he might just keep doing it. This might sound like a beginner player strategy but if you combine it with his anti air capabilities and how good he is at dealing with burnout it gives you insane mental pressure to deal with. He is definitely by far not the most optimal player but it must be damn exhausting to play against him

Manon has good enough neutral buttons for Cammy, however, her issue is her lack of defensive options in the corner. That's legitimately her only issue there. If she gets pushed to the corner it's rough for her (Although that's not just an issue she has with Cammy exclusively but in general in the corner)

It's a miracle Noah made it to grand finals even, dude is the biggest one trick pony out there. Just relentless offence into burnout then punishing offensive mistakes the opponent makes trying to capitalise on his burnout, mixed along with a lot of random DIs to try and catch buttons that wouldn't be able to be cancelled into DI back. You can see Punk has how Noah plays downloaded as well, Noah is VERY successful against people who are trying to play "normal" SF6 and it works really well but the second someone has labbed and is expecting what he's going to do it's very uphill for him.

It can’t be a true block string for you to be thrown into the wall, meaning there must be a gap between attacks for the player to react to the DI.

If you see in the corner, it says lock. That means there was too much stun and the opponent couldn’t do anything to get out of the DI, so it doesn’t stun. That’s the risk of doing heavy into DI when they are in burnout

As PTNOPOT said, there needs to be at least a 1 frame gap. And Idom probably was just trying to get some extra chip damage so he could put the Chun in range for the kill.
