Hello. Which one would you recommend to buy for beginners. I bought one from amazon and returned yesterday. Sounded like i was hitting a propane can😢. Sounded bad with mallets and no noise from fingers at all. Tk u so much for ur help.

Hi there! which one did you buy? Well. Tank drum ARE drum- made from 2 halves of a propane tank! Truthfully, Smaller drums are impossible to play with hands/fingers. For beginners- the bigger the drum- the better(if you want to play with fingers). bigger tongues will make it easier to play. Soundwise---for "bigger" , deeper eternal sounds: I recommend 12" and up & possibly, 12-15 notes. Let me know which one you had previously purchased

@@cleocleo9374 I looked up the drum-$69,99 right? Anyway, those drum should sound exactly for what they are. Are all the notes off tune/bad? Then I clicked on the video,,,,just FYI- the music in that video---is from a handpan, NOT tongue drums. Tongue drums from Amazon are all mostly single notes drum. (eg- no overtones / harmonics)
