I found your KZbin video and ask my husband to watch while he was in inpatient rehabilitation in July 2021 after his stroke May 2021. He watched it everyday on his cell phone and continues to watch as part of his home speech sessions that I have set up for him. His voice continues to get stronger and stronger. I like to hear him growling because it helps him and I hear that his vocals are improving everyday.

My health care is terrible and I have disabilities that I struggle with everyday. This is the kinds of things Ive been asking for, for my doctors to send me to and they never do. This is also why I am glad KZbin is here for things like this. I suffered a traumatic brain injury and Ive had to do all the research and all of these things of relearning on my own because thats how bad and exhausting my health care has been for years. But thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for to help rebuild my speech and cognitive skills. :D

Thank you very much. I am Japanese. It is a lot of a different mouth from when we speak English. The most difficult one is I can hear pronunciation but I cannot find the right mouth form. Finally I found out it as your video. You see similar pronunciation Japanese and English but the mouth form is quite different! Normal speed English is too fast to find out the mouth form and the voice for me. I have been spending more than a couple decades to find out the right mouth form! Your video is all answer what I have been looking for! Thank you very much again God bless you

I stumbled upon your video due to my curiosity of how to strengthen my tongue and throat to eliminate my speech impairment due to my hearing loss. . I saw this just now and I'm so excited to try these exercises and hopefully improve my current speech impediment as it made me a very quiet and reserved person because of fear of social judgement from society. I forget to remind myself of how I project my vocals and prononunciate my words and how it may sound to other people when they hear how my speech sounds deteriorating. I am eager to commit to these exercises and hope that it can improve my speech, maybe my speech could never be perfect but I definitely will be giving 110% effort for hopeful results. Thank you so much for this informational video, I look forward to watching any other content you've created :)

Hi Terri, I would like you thanks first of all for wonderful exercises for beginners, i was a stutter initially, then gone through 2-3 times speech therapies & now i am feeling quite happy & can speak like a normal guy. I have faced today a moment full of anxiety, because when i was speaking in front of my senors team & colleague, i was not able to speak with confidence & not able to speak fluently. When i saw myself, i was out of breathe. Please support me & advise me.

Thank you! Glad I found this. I have lately been having trouble swallowing like food would not move down my esophagus and felt stuck, water would help, however it scared me so much I felt as though I was choking. I also found that after I ate my speech would sound slurred or as if I had a lisp, and made me very conscious when I spoke and embarrassed. I hope these exercises will help. I was just wondering how long I will have to do them for my speech and swallowing to improve? Thank you!
