During his live shows, he would invite audience members to keep up with his rapid patter in call-and-response style. Glad we have his films and recordings!

Such an outstanding triple threat in musical comedy, yet capable of great dramatic work as well.

This one won my heart when I was little. Later I moved to Seattle and found out he owned the best radio station in the US.

growing up my father had a record (it was red instead of the black) The 4 of us would sit down after our baths and listen the stories of the Russia old county. One was stone soup. He came from the same part of the "old country" as my grandfather. I have always loved himz

They used to be shown regularly on TV, say on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Now, you'd really have to search for 'em. "The Kid from Brooklyn" and "The Inspector General" still crack me up!

Most people probably only know Danny from White Christmas these days. It's a shame because he made a lot of really good films, most of which stand up to rewatching. The viewing trio I try to watch every year is Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Wonder Man and Court Jester. A superb performer. Funny, charismatic, dexterous, with great musicality and dance talent. :-)

Thank you for uploading. My grandmother bought me up on Danny Kaye, and these days I can’t barely find a thing connected to him like this. Please keep going 🙏🏻

$24.99 at Goodwill. It was a gamble, and the output is a little wonky on one side, but Stereophonic Sound is overrated. 🙃
