I loved Curve since late nineties. Still, I didn't know their vocalist Toni Halliday had previously released a record of her own back in '89. This is great stuff, she really nailed a transition from post new wave groove and looks into an expansive rock icon.

I got this in a bunch of 12 inch singles back in 1990 for £2 I think this one was played to death - the 12 inch is simply awesome and I think she should have reissued it - definitely should have been bigger

Would love a remastered CD of Hearts and Handshakes with all the b-sides and videos in HQ.

I love this, great late 80s album and the stepping stone to Curve! Toni's latest album Take A Line For A Walk is amazing. Not sure why she released it under the name Chatelaine though and not under her own name?

wow, toni in the 80s, she can still be amazing even in the pop world. Was this after the" state of play" with dean or before? Beautiful song, nice jangly guitars! Thanks for this rarity that you uploaded! cheers!
