I think my main qualm about this family is every time they get called out for doing something messed up, they talk about it in their videos as “people have been negative to our family lately” which is very manipulative because their audience is so young. Their fans rush to their defense because they don’t understand the nuances of the situation, and in their minds, their favorite KZbinrs aren’t being rightfully criticized, but rather bullied. It also teaches their young audience that criticism = bullying/negativity which is a TERRIBLE thing to imprint of impressionable minds, and if that mindset isn’t corrected, will lead to them taking no accountability for their own wrongdoings in the future.
