Thank you! I bought the Tonie on a limb(it was on sale at target) but I did want the Yoto! I was starting to regret it but you made me feel confident that my boys (3 and 1) would love the tonie better at this age. Maybe when they are 5 we can purchase the Yoto mini.

You’re welcome!! A little update… My son is now almost 3. We ended up also getting a Yoto as well a few months ago. And he still prefers the Tonie!!

Thank you so much for your review! You addressed everything that I was concerned about or wondering about with the confusing Yoto controls for a 1.5 year old I'll be getting the Tonie first thanks to you! I was worried about keeping track of the Tonie figures but you eased my mind too. I just like that you can play any Yoto card from the app even if you lose one. I hope Tonie considers that in the future too

I also like that you gave a very honest review and comparison. I've watched too many youtubers who seem to gloss over the cons of each and just saying both have their shortcomings but and it depends on your toddler

Now I'm nervous. I bought yoto mini for 2.5 yr old for Christmas. He's mature for his age though so hopefully he will love it.

No no don’t be nervous! A 2.5 year old is totally capable of getting the hang of the Yoto! My nephew is 2.5 and has a Yoto!
