@@joeenglert yes, much better in every way, starting with superior acting! A Quintet litmus test for me is if you can hear Anita's counterpoint near the end, it's often completely lost in weak productions. Here it's loud and clear!

I don’t think it was that he was out of tune as much as it was too low and out of his range, and I hope your talking about Riff, because Tony ate that shit note for note. God damn he can sing.

@@jowar2393 Sadly it was more than that--he lost the melody, went flat, went sharp--he was all over the place except where he should be. Ruined an otherwise good staging/interpretation.
