Something I noticed people didn’t think about is that it’s pretty possible the invisible man’s real appearance might not be his human form. After all, whatever happened in the movie showed that the monsters were turned into humans. The invisible man, not being an exception, didn’t turn visible in his “monster form”, but was turned into a human, hence his appearance in the movie. Who knows, perhaps his non visible form as a monster is a hot one, like fans love to believe ?

Ngl I definitely had some kind of crush on the Invisible Man. They absolutely did him dirty. I’ve seen people say he’s a Jewish stereotype, as well as comparing him to Mort Goldman from Family Guy. And given how Adam Sandler is Jewish… I wouldn’t put it past him to actually do that on purpose. Too bad though, they could have definitely gotten more money from views and free promotion if they had made Invisible Man sexy or at least an average dude for the fanfic/artist girlies that thirsted over him.

Another thing that contradicts HT4 invisible man's design is HT1 when he's wearing a pair of swim trunks that CLEARLY display how skinny he is. I'm not even a simp. I'm just upset they ruined a good opportunity to make a likable character design. I always imagined him as a friendly looking skinny little nerd boy around Johnny's age. My disappointment is astronomical.

I think one of the biggest tragedies of HT 2 was a joke they cut out once it hit DVD. When I saw it in theaters during the scene where the elephant is eating Cakey's hand on the TV, Cakey says, "Slow down! The real monster is diabetes!" before going to the next scene. It was my favorite joke in the entire movie only for it to be removed once it hit DVD. I was so upset

Besides the Invisible Man not being a hunk, the most disappointing part of the last move was Johnny still being human, like as everyone had pointed out, he will die and then his wife and son will keep on living for like ever. NOBODY in the movie thought to just turn him into a vampire so his whole ass family doesn’t outlive him???

I can't help but wonder if vampires simply... can't turn humans in the Hotel Transylvania universe. I haven't seen the films in a while, so maybe one of the characters mentioned it and I've just forgotten, but it seems to me that all the vamp characters we see were born as vampires. Of course, that also opens up the question of what's going on with Dennis. How do vampire genetics work? Will he have a different lifespan compared to his mother and grandfather? Is vampirism just a binary outcome where you're either a vampire or not, opening up the possibility of generations upon generations of vampires that keep having children with humans, only to produce more vampires, eventually populating the world with immortal beings? Who knows???

Personally, it never made sense to me that the Invisible Man was hot. His charm is pure personality, if he was hot, being invisible is the last thing he would want. Now, it did bother me a lot that for the 4th movie the definition of "human" was equal to "white dude".

I don't know who went human during the movie because I didn't watch it, but the vampires were the only ones who kinda had to be white. Wolf dude, bandage guy, invisible man, and Frankenstein all had either hidden skin or oddly colored skin as monsters. Not all of them had to be white. The boat movie pushed it a little, but the last one chucked it off the edge.

Regardless if he was hot or not, him being invisible had nothing to do with looks in the original source. He was a scientist who became obsessed with physics, specifically optical density (the way things are seen) and wanted to experiment on finding a way to make something invisible by tricking the eye. Which he did. And got stuck like that.

I had a friend who hadn’t seen the first movie in a long time, and for some reason thought that Johnny and Dracula got together. I mean say what you want but they had more time together on screen, and was having Dracula deal with his dead wife issues. I don’t know if it would have been a good movie or how they would have done it but I personally feel it would have been more interesting if those two got together. Don’t ship it, just think it would be more interesting.

I think the 4th movie would have been much better if Dracula´s conflict towards Jonathan was like "I don´t like you, I only tolerate you for Mavis´ sake and at this point it has nothing to do with you being human it´s your personality and I just can´t take you seriously", like it´s more about their lifestyles than their species and even after Johnny transformed himself into a monster they still had the same issues

He could become a walking reanimated corpse a la Frank. He DID dress up as Frank’s relative in the first movie, right? So he dies, Drac gets Frank to reanimate the corpse, badda big badda boom, Johnny’s alive, probably forever. Do the same thing with Erika (a call back to HT3 and the hot Franken-woman during the dance scene) and you’re all good! Sure, I guess turning them into vampires is the easier path, but let’s not count out other options.

Okay so to clear up: Dennis, the kid(?) Is canonically the son of a vampire and a human, i.e. a Dhampir. They look human but have some of the positives of a vampire. Look at Alucard from castlevania for a play by play but make sure to exclude some of the game mechanics of Alucard (since he is from a game.)

i haven't watched the 4th movie. To me, the ads made it seem like some 30 min short of Johnny becoming a dragon and Mavis and Dracula becoming humans, which would be boring. It wasn't interesting to me (i tend to like kids shows and movies sometimes), but apparently it was big enough for content creators to make gta 5 videos about the characters breaking their bones. That didn't make sense to me, so i was waiting for this vid to come out. What am i even doing with my life. why do people create such monstrosities?

Idk what the actual plot of the 4th movie is, but I think it would be interesting if the monsters became humans and somehow couldn't get to the transylvania hotel somehow. Whether that means it's block by some mYStErIous PoweR or theyre on the other side of the world and they have to travel back while learning something on the way there. But idk what the moral they would learn

I HATED the fourth movie. It was ok until they came to South America. The location in the map is clearly Brazil, but they put everything in Spanish, not in Portuguese. The city they arrive is totaly chaotic, all the people seem to be dumb and "uncivilized", that is even a person holding a chicken in a bus! The city looks like a mix of a lot of other latino countries's stereotypes, and even remebered me of the way India is portrayed by the western media. Also, they just foccused in Amazon, reforcing the stereotype that Brazil it's just a big and dangerous jungle. And I hated the way they only said "South America", like it was a country and not a subcontinent with 13 different countries. Besides all the stereotypes, the movie isn't creative at all, Dracula's view of Johnny gets worse than in the first movie and all of what they tried to make funny just looked stupid and unnecessary.

What I don't get is the design of the invisible man is just so eugh. His neck, dude, he looks like a thumb. They went out of their way to make him look so weird, they could've kept the same design but with different proportions and it would've been fine. He can be "ugly" or unconventionally attractive, but fix his damn neck and nose size - it's too big! None of the other humans have that big a nose. Oh and don't even get me started on the mummy. Those cheeks, why.

I don't care that the Invisible Man isn't hot, but... he is albino in his original series. And has a beard (although he could have shaved it... probably not) And his design is antisemitic. And kind of fatphobic as well (his weight is only for him to be the butt of a joke.). That is why I don't like his design. Also, it is a blatant retcon of how he is in the other movies, where he was real skinny! They did him such an injustice (not about the weight btw, I'm talking about everything else. The retcon is only bad because it contradicts 3 entire movies, and it was only made for him to be laughed at. Not because it made him chubby.)
