Tonkatsu and Tempura stalls are popular among businessmen - Japanese street food

We caught up with a local businessman on his way home from work before the opening of a katsu (pork cutlet) stall that attracts locals!
This time, we visited Dogenya, located in Nagahama's food stall street.
The owner, a former deep-fat fryer, is popular for his fried foods such as kushikatsu (deep-fried pork cutlets) and tempura.
The owner's fried foods, which are recommended by locals, are very popular, and the stall was crowded with regulars and other locals at about the same time of the day.
The owner's children also came to visit the stall that day, and a peaceful father-son moment passed by before the stall opened.

It's such a shame we can't have nice Yatai like you have here in the States! Our local Health Department would be jumping up and down, screaming "You cannot have this here. It doesn't meet our Cleanliness Guidelines, so we'll have to levy a steep Fine against you and close you down."
