You need felt bottom boots for the slick rocks. Fishing outfitters have them.

We’ve been there done that years ago. At least three times. Loved seeing it again through your eyes. We even had “Dinner at the Bridge” one year on our anniversary. Special fund raiser event. Aren’t there some more caves or cave to explore? We never did that. Blessings

Hope you don’t mind I’m commenting again. I didn’t get to watch the whole thing so I came back to watch the rest. Your music choice is really awesome. Your video making skills are excellent. I know how hard it is. ❤️😊👍 Also, thanks for making me realize how truly beautiful this state is. ❤️🍯🌈🍀

We love the comments. Comment more lol! KZbin’s algorithm loves it too 😂. And, we also love engaging with all of you too, of course!! Amy gets all the credit there for the edits and music choices. She works very hard and we couldn’t do this without her editing skills!

Wonderful natural features - thanks for taking us along via video. Almost bought a pair of Soloman's last weekend - landed on a Hoka shoe instead. Happy travels.

Thanks for showing us all of the viewpoints for both bridges. It really gives us an accurate idea of how large they are. Congrats on being recognized!

Thank you thank you! We didn't hit up all the same viewpoints that we have in our past video because we were mostly interested in the update. But yeah... the thing is pretty big. 😅

Recognized on location, congrats! I am at home with a broken ankle and am watching at least a dozen of my favorite travel Youtubbers. And you're included. Thanks to you Glenn & Amy for helping me to stay occupied and traveling in my dreams this summer.

Awww! Thank you so much! And super speedy recovery to you. I hope things are too painful or difficult. I'm acutely aware of the pain of not being able to get around. All too well. 😅 (Amy)

I visited the Travertine Bridge this past June with girls from our church; we were at girls camp, and this was our high adventure activity. It was a blast! Was my second time visiting, but my first time “threading the needle” as you say 😃 It was SO challenging and scary! We started at the bridge side and came out the other end. I can attest to how dangerous it was to get up and over those extremely slippery rocks at the top inside the bridge 😳 The hike back up after we came out of the cave was also tough. At one point, the incline climb was so steep I was afraid to fall back onto the people behind me, and it seemed mostly gravel with no rock or shrub to grab onto; I don’t even know HOW we got up that part!! I came across your channel while searching you tube for places to visit, and do some vlogging of my own! I love exploring Arizona sites, there’s so much to see here! 💕 I’m actually going back tomorrow to vlog, just not sure if I’ll be attempting the loop again 😂 Happy adventures to ya!!

It's shocking slick rock, isn't it? It's easy to look at a video and think, "Oh I could do that" but once you're trying to scramble up or down those rocks... man. Not easy. Enjoy your trip back and safe footing should you do decide to attempt the loop again. Thanks for visiting! 😄

I love that place. We took the kids when they were little. We had such a great time. It’s beautiful! A real natural wonder. You’re pretty close to Fossil Creek. I heard it was closed.

Hadn't heard that! We filmed this some time ago to be honest. But we do love the place. Just so unreal looking up at that huge piece of land seemingly hovering there.

This is really cool. I have to wonder at what point a natural bridge just becomes a tunnel, that is massive.
@CactusAtlas

It is huge. A lot bigger than many other natural bridges we've seen in the SW.

I'e been wearing Skechers work shoes for a few years now. Mine are heavy cuz I need steel toes, but their anti-slip soles are pretty much the best I've experienced in a trainer type shoe.

Would be interesting to put them to the test. You practically need suction cups on that slick rock. Hahah!

Thanks! It was one of my favorite moments of my KZbin career. 😄. I just heard ‘hey Glenn with the Cactus Atlas!’ and probably appeared bewildered and confused at first lol. But, not sure how much that person realizes it made my day. 😁

So glad you were able to go back & finish that trail @TheCactusAtlas. I'm not sure if I'd be able to stand at that spot knowing there's nothing below me. So many creators would kill for your dead cat, mic, settings & editor you're using for that shot at 3:27 & 11:06. Oh PLEASE tell me that they painted all that steal work & that that's Not rust I'm seeing. Well if you start feeling ill after this one Glenn it's from that 🤐at 13:10. Just remember to get another set of insoles & keep em in the car in about 6 months. ps Not sure who was more Giddy Glenn, you or Linda recognizing you. She might be the 3rd person I can recall you mentioning being recognized as a creator. Sounds like it's about time to start brainstorming on some sticker designs. pss The eye is looking good.

It's strange how I can climb an extension ladder & lean to far, work on the edge of roofs @@CactusAtlas. Butt as soon as I look down or over an edge or even watch a vid of any height my legs just start shaking. Yet I can still climb a tree the same as when I was a kid. Yet a weeeeee bit slower.
