Maryann Plunkett returning champ hard lock 100%

My predictions 1. Kelli O’Hara 2. Gayle Rankin 3. Shaina Taub 4. Maleah JoI Moon 5. Maryann Plunkett I personally have no idea who’s winning. I’m tentatively predicting O’Hara since she’s the only one who I can confidently say is getting nominated, but I’m not sure since the show’s already closed. Despite Cabaret’s mixed reviews, I think Rankin still gets nominated, though I think the reviews kill her winning chances. I’m also predicting Taub and Moon since I’m predicting those shows for Best Musical noms, so it makes sense they bring their lead actresses along with them. For the 5th slot, I’m predicting Plunkett, but I won’t be surprised to see her snubbed with the show’s mixed reviews. Aside from those, despite Lempicka’s mixed reviews, I think Espinosa can still pull of a nomination considering the weak competition, but the mixed reviews are keeping me from predicting her. Arielle Jacobs in Here Lies Love could surprise, but I’m not going to predict her considering the show’s already closed and she’s not a big name.

I am officially shaky predicting Gayle now. I'm with you. It seemed like a no brainer that she'd get nominated but after those reviews I just don't know. I do think Eden is still in (probably) and I think the Hells Kitchen lead Is definitely in. That got way stronger reviews than I anticipated.

I feel so bad for Gayle. If she doesn’t get in, I wonder if it may be a snub to the producers for not getting an A-list celeb or someone in the same level as Jessie Buckley to open this revival in NYC. :(
