Genie deserved a lot of Emmys. But sadly the Emmys are a damn joke. How the hell are you gonna have a category for fav daytime couple and Luke n Laura NEVER won?!?! Shut the hell up. Whoever decides the winners had it out for genie and Susan Lucci. I rarely watched all my children, but even I knew Susan deserved to win a LOT more then 1 just as Genie deserved far more.

Well Tony had already won a few Emmys before this, Susan had NEVER won before that night. I'd say she deserved the longer speech.

Tony had only 1 win prior to this win. Best Actor was presented before Actress- so at time didn't know Susan's win would follow along with long speech.
