One of my friends & I used to get combos of like 2 million on there. Maybe we'll get lucky and at some point after launch they'll add THPS3's levels & secret skaters as an expansion....

The hidden room is behind the door IN the half-pipe, not the little room hanging above it. But if I remember correctly there is a gap for jumping over the half-pipe and going through the room itself.

@@OrangeShanker Yep, I was thinking of the Hanger from THPS2. Although there was an entire hidden area in the Warehouse that you could access, but I don't think they added that until 4 maybe? All I remember is having to do some specific trick off something to knock down a wall to access it.

@@youaintasbadasyouthink That's the exact one I was thinking about as well, and after some google searching I found that there was a cracked wall where one of the quarterpipes ends that you have to sticker slap to knock it down to access a new area but I don't know if they stuck with this new layout or not as I didn't play any of the games after that and from what I've seen that's a good thing. I do hope we get remakes/remasters of the underground games though.

There’s something so addictive about it! LOL Our parents and adults heard that a lot for video/PC games in general: “One more try/life/level Dad/Mom/babysitter/guardian person!”, “Please, just let me finish this race/boss/etc.!” “I gotta get where I can save/do this/that/the other thing first, please!” This was mostly before auto-saves, save-states, anytime saves (or ANY save at all, usually. Maaaybe a password). No excuse now, lovely gaming kiddos! (Hmm, maybe we didn’t really have an excuse, either.😉)

The game looks beautiful! I love the new trick stuff like tweaking grinds, and the stand still Rodney Mullen stuff. I'm 99% sure Afraid of Heights is CA-based punk band Wavves (GTA V soundtrack), which is awesome. The only thing I'm a bit confused about is the "holograms not blood" thing, like that was part of what made the bails more tolerable, watching blood fly out everywhere lol. Whatever maybe there's an option in the menu? Probably not. This video was hilarious tho!! Love you guys!

The only thing I don't like, is that you don't get enough air. I was wondering why I couldn't land 720s when I loaded up the demo. So I went back and tried THPS1 for PS1, with no save so i didn't have boosted stats. You get way more air in the original. You can barely just land 540s in the demo off of full speed, and 360s off of slow speed. In the original, you can make 720s with no problem, and 540s off of almost no speed. Doesn't make the demo bad, I'm loving it. It's just something I had to get used to in the demo. I assume they did it on purpose to give you a reason to upgrade your stats. Regardless, my highest score in the demo so far, in a 2 minute run, is about 170,000, with a 56,000 point trick. Can't wait for the full game to drop.

I do like me some ska, too! What artists or tracks? Ska: to me, it’s usually so upbeat, lively and often happy-sounding! I think it’s the horns. LOL 😂 even an angsty & tough track sounds offset w/ happy! 🤔 Maybe some do enjoy ska, but more in secret or don’t/can’t allow themselves to enjoy ‘cause they’re scared it may not be seen as “cool” anymore, or at least in certain circles? So-called “cool” is way overrated and dumb, anyway, I say. If it’s not a clearly good or bad issue, it’s good and just a personal preference. Enjoy! Share what it means to me with others, but don’t force it on them. They may never connect or feel the same but we can still get along decently as people.

I believe we Tony Hawk stans are called rotators, because he likes to spin endlessly into the sky. God so many memories, I was obsessed with the series all the way up to project 8 on the 360 (a highly underrated title). To the extent of not only 100% every title in the series, but even doing so for the ports of 3 and 4 on ps one (which we're completely different't games to those on ps2 / xbox/ gcube) the only title I didn't get to play was pro skater 2x, which leaves me sad to this day. Fingers crossed this feels as good as the classics and not like the god awful 5.

I use to absolutely love the Tony Hawk games up until Project 8. As much as I love this game I dont think I'd want to play it again, at least not for more than $20. I feel like the memories I have of playing this game when I was a kid with friends are more enjoyable than replaying an updated version of the same game by myself because what even is couch co op anymore? Shame. I hope younger gamers buy it and fall in love with it the same way I did.

I thought there were two secret rooms. One for grinding on the pipes above the left hand side of the warehouse, secret room that has a helicopter. Then the other where you wall grind over the half pipe on the right to break down the wall - which contains a further half pipe room. I could be remembering it wrong though.... it’s been a while!!
