can that be as rewarding as conquering a DS boss...catching a grind takes a lot but at the end of the day i can skate better irl...and that’s fun.

You can control the level of difficulty and changes the controls to be similar to skate if y’all want too. Just takes time like all games. And the skating community is big enough to GoFundMe this games into existence.

Compared to realism of THPS, this seems to be on the other side of the spectrum. To me Skate sits perfectly between the two.
@garfingle66114 жыл бұрын
I've had this game on pc for a while now and once you get the controls down it is really easy to chain tricks together and the way body rotation and board rotation works allows for some equally unbelievable tricks.
@TheJspan4 жыл бұрын
I agree with this because this game was aimed toward the real skateboarding experince I mean if you know knowledge of Skateboarding the tricks come easy because you do things how you would in real life like for example I know a 360 pop shuv-it + kickflip is a 360 flip so on the joysticks it's easy for me

For the people that don’t know u can change the controls to be like skate where one analog stick is for tricks and other is for movement. Also you can make grinding easier so much so that u can start to grind stuff without actually landing in the right area.

EA abandons the Skate series so two independent dev teams spent years creating Session, and another team is making Skater XL. As someone who’s skateboarded in real life for about 16 years and been playing this pretty solidly for about the last week, I can say this is the game that’s come closest to feeling like actual skateboarding! The controls feel weird and new at first but, once it clicks, it gives you so much control over what you can do! 🛹 Can also unfortunately confirm the weird positioning of your characters feet/ankles at times are also realistic 😅

Fuck what these other guys are saying, I'm with you. They probably don't actually skate. The only thing that makes this game a "sim" is pop height. Between the lack of flow and even the simplest tricks being unnecessarily tech, the game's just not that enjoyable let alone "realistic"/true-to-life
