Tony's techniques for lead guitar, other than being pentatonic, are very much his own. It's like he intentionally avoids that bend into roll, kind of technique most players were using back then, and still largely today. He set himself apart nicely.

It is real strange to see Iommi playing a dual humbucker B.C. Rich through Mesa Boogie amps in E Standard tuning (this video is a FUCKING LESSON FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD, it is still weird when his mainstay tuning is Eb, then D for the recent Sabbath shows because Ozzy is almost 70 and can't sing in key in general, so they needed to do something.). I'm so used to seeing SG's played through Laneys.
