Tony is just plain "BLESSED." Looks, physic, military service, unbelievable voice. Why he is not a giant country star is a mystery to me!!!!

@@albertwhitehead4849 because traditional isn’t in style right now. He has become known by people recommending him.

Finally, you are featuring Tony and you picked a good one. He is super talent, no doubt and knocked this old George Jones classic out of the park. Outstanding

I have heard this gentleman before, and he is GREAT. He has truly done George Jones justice here. I really want to hear more of Tony Jackson.

I love his cover of this George Jones classic. It is also covered by the great Aaron Neville. Tony definitely has a country sound. There are those of us that still love that. I really appreciated the background. I had no idea Mrs. Dean had discovered him. I think there is a market for his music. Great reaction P.J

Glad to see you finally reacted to Tony Jackson. I've been telling you about him especially this song right here on lives for awhile. He forsure made George Jones smile down proudly with this cover. If you listen to this with your eyes closed you can picture George singing.

I saw this notification. I was immediately like, "uh oh, he's found Tony Jackson." It's probably best you waited until you'd had this solid of a background, since he's most famous for covering the classics. This particular classic was covered some 30 or so years ago by Aaron Neville as well, might be worth a reaction while you're on this "country songs not just sung by white dudes" path.

I found Tony about 5 years ago. Whenever I find a new singer I like, I send a link to my 3 sisters. My youngest said she knew all about Tony, been listening to him for years, was friends with him and his wife. What!? I gave her a few choice words about not telling me about Tony, and making me stumble upon him on my own. Sister says Tony and his wife are good people.

@@DjPjrocReacts911 unfortunately, there isn’t a large body of work yet to choose from. Without big corporations behind you it is hard to put out a lot of recordings.

This is a very short video as Tony is ending the Grand Tour at the Opry. He was so dazed he just walked off stage. Bill Anderson had to call him back out. The audience LOVED him. If traditional was still in style, he would be a big star.

Good voice, good country sound, and nice cover. Does he write and sing his own songs, too?

That voice is as clear as a bell, and what a delivery. Tears in my eyes! (I'll always wonder - did she take the baby and leave, or did she die in childbirth? It sounds like the latter to me. Does anyone know?) Thank you for introducing me to this singer. I truly loved your reaction. Let's do more of this artist!
@Nicole_Jewell26 күн бұрын
The song is about her leaving and taking the baby with her. I read up up on it and George Jones himself said this song hit too close to home since he was going through divorce at the time from Tammy Wynette
