That old sweet touch is still there. Could have been world champion in ‘82 or’83 but for calamitous defeats at the hands of Charlton and Thorburn respectively. Fine, fine player who deserved to be world champion. He really did.

Who shot the footage ? Loved watching Tony as a kid in the 80s. Saw him live in Glasgow in 86 and gave him a good luck card when he played Kirk Steven’s . ​@@alanfizzypop9607My Mum was a massive fan of his and met him in the 80's here in Leicester when he played an exhibition at the Haymarket theatre with Willie Thorne. Tony picked my mum out of the audience to lay on the table to do a trick shot. He told her they were going to a certain nightclub in town after. To cut a long story short, she ended up dancing with him at the club and got a kiss off of him 😂 Nothing else happened, but she loves to tell that story.
