That other guy follows Tony so well, he’s like Wyatt on Rice.

@@ologbosere9525 one thing to notice is that this is one place where Tony deviates from alternate picking. He plays consecutive downstrokes I think twice in this little phrase. You can see this at 00:15. Watch his right hand. Hope that helps. Also, not even the best contemporary pickers can nor do they try to perfectly mimic his style. You get to appreciate the uniqueness in your own playing :)

@greenfinmusic5142 Жыл бұрын
@@nancychace8619 curve = unexpected. The G major chord is a curve/unexpected because it isn't in the key of Dm/F (the keys of Dm and F contain g minor, not G major)

At 5:29 is Tony playing a chord when he says "G major"? Or is that Wyatt playing and Tony is setting up for the next part? And if Tony is playing a chord there....what the hell is it? I don't have a lot of theory knowledge so I can't figure out how there's a G in there
@ervinbratlien87413 ай бұрын
I believe Tony is playing the G chord first in the bottom screen followed a split second by Wyatt strumming the same chord in the upper screen. They both omit the B note of the chord that would usually be played on the 5th string. They both like to add the D ( 3rd of the chord ) on the second string

Can you play it slower? Well, I already slowed it down 50%.
