Even though Stewart was right, (DW was very hard to watch in the K-Mart car) so was Darrell in this case and I think Stewart could have been a little more respectful. After all, only four men on Earth have more Cup victories than Darrell and Tony Stewart is not one of them.

@@runrafarunthebestintheworld I became a Tony fan when he changed his attitude the next year. I was always a Junior and Jarrett fan, but 2005 was insufferable for us Junior and Jarrett fans, despite the fact both won a race. Junior won at Chicagoland (on a two-tire call), and Jarrett won at Talladega because he was one of the best restrictor plate racers. My Mom hated Stewart, but it changed that year. I forgot all of those run-ins he had with Kahne. Funny thing is that when Kasey finally won is first Cup race at Richmond in May 2005, Stewart was 2nd. In the pre-race show, they asked Kasey who he would love to see finish 2nd to him, and he said Tony Stewart.

The 2004 Xfinity race at Kansas takes me back to a time, when NBC/TNT were prodding Bill Weber to be their booth guy, virtually demoting Allen Bestwick later on. Allen Bestwick NBC was top shelf. I can honestly also say here in the present day, that I even like Rick Allen NBC, a lot better than I liked Bill Weber NBC. It might be because my mind, as a 31 year old NASCAR fan, understands and comprehends the sport much better today, than when I was a fan, at 12 years old between 2004 to 2006. That could be the reason. I just don't know for sure.

If all the stuff he did in 04 was done to him, he probably would have killed somebody....oh wait he did....just not for a few years. He was a loose cannon and really had no business being a Driver IMO. You can't be that emotionally out of control as a Driver, but he was and I thought it was ridiculous. Ive seen 5 year old kids who act better than he did. It made him look like a fool to be honest. His spat with DW was absolutely disgusting and was totally classless. When you resort to personal attacks after criticism, you've already lost. He knew what DW was saying was the truth and had no comeback, so he decided act like a coward. That interaction alone made me lose ALL and any respect i may have had for him. The pressure and criticism was getting to him, and it showed right there. The fact anybody liked him on any level is seriously ridiculous.

Looking back at this. To today’s day. This just seems like nascar hated Stewart from the gecko. And him forming a team nascar wanted to run him out. He speaks his mind and if it’s not exactly what nascar wanted to hear. They do something to butcher him or his team. Just complete BS. tony is an excellent driver and there NEEDS to be more drivers like him. Speak your mind. Rough up some feather make you a good driver too. Tony was just that and nascar hated the fact HE was that.

But since he drove Chevrolet he was a fan favorite. Meanwhile Kurt Busch, Logano, Hamlin get vilified for much less.

Yo Rusty would have beat the brakes of Tony had they fought after that wreck in California. "He's messing with the wrong guy with that mouth right now" 😂😂

Funny how when dale.earndhart wrecked everyone and would win he got put on a pedestal as a hero, yet when tony does something hes hated and at fault. Earndhart became so arrogant on that pedestal that he killed himself thinking he was untouchable. TS is good .

Tony has some real emotional issues and like most unbalanced people it is never his fault. Yet when confronted by someone like Robbie he shook like a little girl.

Never been a fan if Tonys personality. Never gracious. Blamed Goodyear for everything. Let his team go adrift for last 5 years. No track presence.

Very satisfying ending to that video. Joe wrecking Tony was as satisfying as Kenseth wrecking Joey in 2015

Rusty acting like a tough guy is just plain funny! Tony calling DW, Joy and Larry Mac morons was great. All a bunch of wind bags imo. Americas crew chief lol, idiot won like 23 races in his whole career!

Ever notice how much he did to other drivers and yet Stewart acts like mommies little girl when it happens to him. You can give it money and dress it up but a turd is a turd. No driver can complain about anything happening to them that they have not done to someone else.

Stewart was always dirty. You also show respect to DW. Everyone saw him literally run over everyone. And its totally believable the way Stewart was that he went out of his way to kill the dirt racer years ago. He got lucky there he didn’t go to jail.
