Tony Snell and Frank Field

Interview between Radio Merseyside's Tony Snell and Birkenhead MP Frank Field ahead of the Channel Four Dispatches programme on "Council's Wasting Our Money" to be screened at 8pm on 17th June 2013. Frank Field suggests people lodge freedom of information requests to access council information and perversely goes on to suggest that members of the public are engaged in a campaign of undermining the council by lodging "too many freedom of information requests". He even implies that opposition political parties are behind it all.

i have some 10 foi requests the majority of which have been unanswered.the proliferation of requests arise because the majority are left unanswered for up to a year.I have no knowledge or contact with opposition parties and we foi-ers are independents appalled at:- morton case and dass hespe and colas contract west kirby marina isus and working neighbourhoods fiasco
