Clips of Tony Soprano reacting to potential terrorism. Was he a rat? Or a true American.

I like how when he first sees that containers are an easy means of smuggling, he gets very happy about the prospects for a potential criminal enterprise, but as soon as the Media brings in panic of "WMDs being smuggled by turrorists" he begins having existental dread
@dwl30067 ай бұрын
LOOOL thanks for pointing that out, I love these little gems in the show that you can still find decades later. This alone is why the Sopranos trumps the Wire any day of the week.

I guess cause if he did smuggle WMDs then he would get fucked by the FBI and a lot of three letter agencies

Even looking at pragmatically, religious fundamentalist extremists are bad for business. They already see you as an infidel and will turn against you after the deal is done, their actions will bring additional law enforcement and scrutiny to the area, and they will target your clientele/consumer base.

@@AJ0223 Don't bother, it was way overrated. There's like one scene worth watching, and from that scene one quote worth repeating "when you come at the king, you best not miss", so I pretty much just gave you the only good part of the show lol.

1:15 Tony beating Georgie was, for me at least, one of his most despicable acts in the later season(s) by when he had essentially fully deteriorated as a human being. Sure, he did a lot of despicable things, and this probably wasn't his worst, objectively speaking, but me personally it just stands out. There was absolutely NO reason to hurt Georgie or even bark at him. Georgie didn't say anything remotely offensive or uncaring. Nothing warranted being hurt so bad he had to go to the hospital and wind up blind in one eye.

Honestly, I think one of my absolutely favorite characters in The Sopranos is Agent Harris. He goes from shadowing Tony and trying to arrest him for good to literally giving Tony info later in the series, and Christophah absolutely hit the nail on the head. "I don't think you come cause of the sandwiches, I think you come cause you miss us." He grew to like the Sopranos and Co., to the point that I would even say he became Tony's friend and ally towards the end. Also that bit from Harris about the Mob protecting New York Harbor and similar places, I just love that part of history. The Mob may have been organized crime, but they hated the Axis powers too. The stories of the Italian Mobs standing up to Mussolini in the South during the Allied Invasion of Italy has always made me feel proud even though I'm not Italian at all, maybe I'm just proud of humanity

Harris actually comes to like Tony, and when it's no longer his job to try to put Tony in prison, he's no longer interested to do it. Tony seems like he realizes this FBI agent is sort of a friend now, but he's not really sure how to handle it, given the mob's antipathy toward almost any cop, period.
