He is quite literally, the whole package. It's almost unbelievable. I absolutely love the moment at final tribal when Boston Rob asks Tony how he did it. He explains how every person who comes to the Edge says how great of a game Tony is playing and then before the last win back challenge everyone knows they need to take Tony out, but everyone had nothing but great things to say about Tony. Rob asking how you didn't piss people off is amazing because he did just that in All-Stars. Played an amazing game but lost because the jury didn't like him. Also it's one of the legends of the game giving props to a newer legend.

too many advantages that the contestants don't know about. I like idols bc the cast knows there's idols in play already so they can account for them. Advatnages need to be toned down and be announced so the entire casts know when they're in play

Yeah! I think Survivor needs to have a barebones season. Keep the rice & beans because that's for health and safety but no advantages. Either tell the contestants at the start of the game or not so they figure it out themselves. Or another way is announce at the start which advantages will be in the season.

I love shot clock idols bc they give us moments like the Sandra/Denise move which was strikingly similar to the IOI Kellee/Dean move the only difference is Kellee didn't get burned by Dean til the next round. Johnny may be right Sandra was in her head about Day 16 but without that expiration she keeps that idol for herself and so does Kellee. Also Chris Noble being able to play that lil game where he extends the life of it 1 round leads to his hilarious blindside at the merge vote ending up like JT...

Tony is downplaying being King for strategic reasons for when he plays again. Being self-declared Queen didn't help Sandra. Tony is (rightly) afraid next time he plays, people will want to be King Slayer. But regardless - Tony is King and Sandra is Queen. Adios.

@@lukebrennan3378 I absolutely HATE Sandra's strategy of "as long as it's not me" but even I admit she is the "Queen of Survivor" purely off of her being a 2 time winner. Personally I think Parv is the best female player, but Sandra did beat her in HvV. Tony says it in this video, the winner is the best out of the players of that particular season. Doesn't mean you are better than another winner though. The jurors voted for you, that's it. I'd recommend you watch the Courtney Yates interview because she really goes into the HvV final 3 and why Parvati lost it. Basically Courtney says Russell & Parv should have kept Danielle instead of Sandra because then it would be 3 people in the finale that the jury hated. All 3 were in the same alliance and had a hand in voting people off. With Sandra, the jurors had a person they did not hate. Sandra was not part of Russell's alliance so he got everyone who wasn't a part of his alliance.

This season was absolutely chaotic. You know they have hours and hours of extra footage that they couldn't keep in. Every all returnee season the game gets elevated. This raised the bar very high.

Evolutionary Psychology supports Tony's claim regarding women survivors not taking as big of risks. It's an adaptation of mating strategies which has traditionally incentivized conservative strategies for women (due to high cost of child bearing/relative access to shelter and food before agriculture.) Whereas men are evolutionarily hardwired to take risks because surviving said risks stands to prove oneself--proving your genes are worthy of being passed down!
