On board 8 at 14:39 EW I noticed EW can make 5H= for 450, but only scored 300 for setting NS two tricks at 5Dx. We must give full credit to North for raising the preempt and making it very difficult for East to respond to the takeout.

In fact 5H or 5S could be defeated if NS get a spade or a heart ruff, as it turns out

My mistake, you are correct. EW can make 4H or 4S, but not 5.@@TonyStawBridgeClass
