I can't believe she is doing gorgeous doubles at nearly 50 years old. I seriously believe she could throw at least a triple toe or loop with about 3 months training.

I did ice skating for 7/12 years and I loved it. I quit because I started working at 16 and my mom couldn’t afford it anymore. I was going to return in the fall of 2018 but on 03/02/2018 I suffered a severe car accident. My car was almost split in half on the drivers side of my car by a women texting and driving at 75 miles per hour. I fractured my shoulder blade, lower spine, pelvis in 3 places, left hip and my left knee was all mangled. Doctors told me that I would never walk again due to the accident being so badly severe. I was up walking within 2 months without the use of a wheelchair or walker. I still can’t ice skate because the doctor said you got lucky but he said you can never skate ever again because I am very clumsy and can’t keep my balance, he said if I was to fall down then i would be paralyzed from the waist down permanently. I still miss skating, the hardest part is when I take my nieces and nephew skating I can’t join them because due to my body being high risk at 28 years old, it’s hard to watch them and I would love to join them and laugh with them. 😢😢

I work in orthopedics. Perhaps get a second opinion. Maybe see a Sports Medicine doctor. I dunno your situation but I'm sure you know better than I do that 28 is too young to be stuck like that. What a bummer. I hope you can prove that doc wrong someday like you did when you walked

i don't know what others think,I wasn't even born at that time but I just saw the movie it was great, she is talented as hell and I became a fan ,we should always hear both sides of the story before coming to any conclusion.I think now we definitely heard both sides

Tonya wasn't aware that her husband was planning to hurt Nancy so she is absolutely innocent

We should start a petition to atleast allow her to coach OR SOMETHING! A life sentence for a crime she didn’t commit is just so cruel.

I wish they would have used actual clips of Tonya's ice skating in competition in the movie. Tonya did not deserve the fine, the punishment, and to be banned from skating, nor should she have been stripped of her title, she was not on drugs, she had NO involvement in this crime, she took the bitter pill of the judge and ice skating associations anger, and the men who actually planned and did the crime were free from prison after 2 years! Discrimination, abuse , and over kill on the punishment for an innocent lady ice skater. I will always support Tonya's innocence, I read all I could find, she was abused by her first husband, very badly , he was the mastermind of the crime, Tonya was NOT involved. Freedom of speech & press USA copyrighted. The best lady ice skater on earth shall always be Tonya Harding, no one can take that away from her ,ever, and I am glad you have a husband and a son , Tonya, may life be full of love , happiness and fun for you !
