Just got my calibrator from Ian Johnston but I have had chance to use it yet. Thanks for the demonstration they look really good.

Is there a handheld calibrator that does the following or most of them: - mV, V DC - V AC - mA, A DC - mA, A AC - Ohm - Frequency - Temperature

@@AK-IT yes i have not fond one yet. the only AC calibrator i have is a Big Fluke.. those are usualy unaffordable, i was lucky with that one. hope ther will once be a cheaper smaller available and then it will be here on the channel :) i want one

if you know what looking for there are many good bench process calibrator for a ridiculous price. Also these little chinese unit are good but for example I bought some months ago one loop calibrator from a lab that use it for probes testing. it can generate volts, ampere, ohms, degree,frequence, and something more for few hundreds bucks. I test it and is still in spec after 3 years from the last calibration. I forgot to say this is a 6,5 digits with a bar graph chart option, it's a really beast, I'm very happy with this old/new instrument in the lab.

With USB port- it would be interesting to know if they can be controlled via USB, or if it is simply a charging port. Thanks for sharing Tony- these are amazingly inexpensive and the LB02A would be quite handy for the bench.

Why does your SG003A look different from the other SG003As? Is it an older model or something?

Thanks a lot for this intersting video (like all your videos !). Do you know what the "SET" key is doing ? I've got a LB01 (second hand), but the only manuel I found is so poorly translated, and doesn't explain the function of that key. Bye.

I have the FNIRSI SG003A (because it was half the price of the LB02A) but now I think I should have spent the extra 50 euros.. :) It's still a nice device and adequate most of the time. I might just get the LB02A anyway eventually.

me too :-) Totally agree. Its a great device and just half the price but usability isn't as good at all! I think I will additionally go for the LB02 :-)

Question Tony, I always see you use 1mA steps on the LB02A. Can it do 0.1mA steps also ? Otherwise it is a bit useless for proces calibration.
@TonyAlbus Жыл бұрын
Yes you prob can, but by default is 1mA and i am lazy..

The LB02A seems quite good but the price for the LB06 is a bit crazy. I wonder if there is a way to upgrade the LB02A into LB06.
@TonyAlbus3 жыл бұрын
Yes i was wondering about that too, the accuracy of the LB02A and LB06 are the same, so it would only be usefull if you need MODBUS or HART.

I was given the FNIRSI SG-003A. I agree that the online manuals are pretty much useless. Most of the videos on this are in Russian so I can't use them. Would you be interested in showing off some of the things it can do and different ways to use it?
