For those of u who didnt know, Ruth is going through the unimaginable as we speak. They were involved in a car accident which killed her daughter and another kid, and left her in critical condition. She doesnt deserve this. No one does. Shes a small bean that needs to be protected

Is she REALLY the only Asian actress to win since Lea Salonga in 1991?! :O

She's Asian-American and she just won a Tony. There are white, Asian-American, black, Latino and people of all races in America. We have the freedom to fall in love and marry with whoever may be in our life's path in America.

CitzenVain714 COMMENT OF THE YEAR.
@musicaltheatergeek799 жыл бұрын
CitzenVain714 can't you read? This is Ruthie Ann Miles. She played Lady Thiang in the new revival of THE KING AND I. Stone was in the CABARET revival, which just closed 2 months ago.
@MediaLover1949 жыл бұрын
I'm assuming its a reference to the fire that Cameron Crowe has been under recently for casting Emma in a part Asian role in Aloha.
@m13laball9 жыл бұрын
musicaltheatergeek79 It's a joke. They're referring to the stunt casting of Emma Stone in the "Aloha" movie, where she plays a character who is 1/4 Asian and 1/4 Hawaiian. As an Asian-Hawaiian myself that was a downright offensive casting choice and the movie would have had hundredfold more validity had they cast someone who looks at least SOMEWHAT Asian/Pacific Islander. xD

Actually Ruthie grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii. I went to middle school with her.
