Am I the only one to notice that Emma ignored the shit out of her, twice? First when Jessica walked up and tried to fix her dress, Emma just walked off, and I passed that off as maybe she didn't see her/know she was back there. Then she made a point to walk up to all 4 other women after she took the statuette, except Jessica. I get "It's a chaotic moment and all," but this was Jessica's first Oscars in 27 years just to present that award and Emma treated her like she wasn't even there. I’m just saying, movie roles from genre films often gets overlooked at awards shows, in favor for the more “prestigious” dramatic performances, and it gets pretty stale overtime to see the same type of roles win every single year. So it’s a pleasant surprise to a few “genre” type roles get nominated or win. (Natalie Portman for “Black Swan”, Robert Downey Jr. for “Tropic Thunder”, Daniel Kaluuya for “Get Out”, Maria Bakalova for “Borat”, and Michelle Yeoh” for “Everything, Everywhere, All At Once”.
