The lack of personalities in the characters really did hold this one back, I agree there. This is such a sad story, but it would have hit even harder if the characters were better written imo. The idea of him slowly losing his humanity throughout the movie was well done. You could tell that he didn't know what the hell was going on and he was scared, but above all that, he loved his girls. They definitely beat us over the head with this theme though, like damn we get it, he doesn't want to be like his dad. I got it 😮💨😮💨😮💨

The shaking of the son 🤣. Lol i just seen this today n same opinion it was a solid movie. Not what i was expecting but i liked the family dynamic i really cared for them. Also it was a change in the werewolves transition. Instead of being a curse it was treated more as a disease which was an interesting approach

Big fan of werewolf movies, I held back on this one cause I just saw Werewolves and loved it. As far as which one, Wolfman all day, I haven't respected Dracula since I heard Richard Pryor's jokes. "Why don't you get those teeth fixed" It's on youtube, "Wino VS Dracula, Richard Pryor". Thanks for the review, sounds more of a character study than an action/horror flick. I will definitely check it out.

I really enjoyed this movie. I like simple short movies like this. I appreciated the mom and daughter not screaming and running for their lives from the dad. Instead they were trying to get him help and caring for him, and vice versa. And I love werewolf movies. Would probably choose to be a werewolf over vampire, too. I’m already a loner, so I got no problem. Wolf me up!

I feel like a lot of people overlook the little things in life when choosing wolves vs vamps. Imo a vamp existence seems a lot more annoying and tiresome. Case in point, if you’re a vampire does blood taste good? Like does it suddenly taste like sugar or something? Cause everyone knows what blood tastes like. Irony and like you have mouth full of pennies. Do you suddenly just like the taste of the iron when you’re a vamp? Dunno if anyone explicitly goes into something like that.

Yes I'd like this movie once I was explained that he was going to change slow it didn't bother me I actually really enjoyed it more than everyone's giving it credit. And I'm a huge werewolf monster fan I love all the werewolf movies even the shity ones. And I'm kind of glad that they didn't have two werewolves fighting like in the wolfman movie because it ends up looking weird after a while. This being more realistic was a kind of refreshing.

A Werewolf! Also, how long do Werewolves live?
@eklctc14 сағат бұрын
There’s a sad component to both werewolves and vampires because they can be in the same predicament with their origins. The difference is…there can be glamor, success, and power being a vampire. Being a werewolf seems to indicate a lack of control, an unraveling, if you will. You see very few werewolves living a comfortable, successful life that doesn’t involve hard labor. That’s what makes it sad to me.
@bmlarkins116 сағат бұрын
You let me down on this review. 2.5 saxophones 🎷 max. It was slow, sad, and lacked a good story. Werewolf in Paris and older movies in general were just better.

@AMoja-tk6kx2 сағат бұрын
Werewolf. Especially if I look like Hugh Jackman’s from Van Helsing. What I DO NOT like is the memory loss and lack of control werewolves have in a lot of stories. So as long as that’s not a factor. Werewolf 100%. Excited to see the movie.

This one ain’t really hit for me. I feel like they didn’t pick a lane. Like either initially it seemed like we were getting an analogy for controlling your anger and not repeating the sins of the father which they def setup but didn’t really do anything with by the end so it didn’t really pay off on depth for me. And if there’s no depth then give us an exciting crazy horror movie and it wasn’t that either. They kinda split the difference and it ended up being boring to me. Lead actor is dope. I always love him but yeah, it was a 5/10 for me. Surprising too cuz the same directed invisible man and that one was much better imo.
