Can’t agree more. Few, if any, pop singer could carry a jazz number especially alongside Bennett. And Crow’s rendition is just so personal, intimate, not over the top (ala Aretha Franklin) and it worked wonderfully.

yes, so true. Believe it or not, I was one of Tony's publicists back in the 1980s. I used to be in Las Vegas when Tony headlined the Sahara Congo showroom. During one of our conversations after the midnight performance, he told me that he still had a vocal coach in LA that he saw each week. Such a humble artist who sought perfection.
