Road America VSCDA Fall Festival, Sept 14, 2024, Sat PM Group 2 Sprint Race

This was a hard fought race all the way through. Big delay for oil down, so we lost a lap from the schedule and my cameras ended up running way too long - battery on main camera held out until right before the finish line. Epic battle with Nathan Burress in his black bugeye. He's way faster than last year, and a hoot to race against. Dave Amys kept us honest, almost got us both as we were going side by side through turns and slowing the pace because of that.

that was a metric ton of oil dry! Nathan truly has hp...particularly with the terrible aero of having open headlights and grill... when I bought driving shoes for the sports 2000, I went to pegasus and tried on shoes until I found the narrowest pair that I could get into...remember, you dont need to walk far in them.. Great Race!

I had the same wider shoe problem this past weekend. It took a few sessions to get adjusted to it. The finish was one for the ages.

Midwest council event and all vintage cars were in 1 group. We were qualifying and he was the tail car in a group of 4 small bore cars, my brother and I were in 911's and passed the group in the kink by going by on either side, next day he ha the sign on his car

Another British car blew its motor

The oil cleanup was from a dry sump formula car. Apparently, they were also cleaning up bits of motor. I'm not sure how he made it that far around the track, but it was comprehensively oiled down.

@TonyDrews dry sump formula car is more than likely a FF which is a British motor a ford
