I’m Hispanic and doing allll those things was a way of trying to show love from day 1 to a bf or just a man I like. Ladies, there is so much truth to what Tony is saying regarding online dating. I met a guy from SC that was able to take pictures from angles that made him look like he might have been 6 feet tall. When we decided to meet in person who so so short that I was in disbelief. Most men I have met online dating have all been the same. They want sex. The want pictures of you naked and most may have multiple women in the cycle. I have deleted all my online dating apps and I'm pretty much over it. I'm very disappointed in the men in my age group of 50's..They too are playing games and not intentional about dating.

Let me just say , Everything Tony said is the absolute truth. Someone close to me started online dating , I’ve never had until a month ago because I thought I would give it a try and do something different. It has been a complete disaster. I close it and will never again . The last month I’ll admit I was doing It out of desperation because I wanted companionship. I’m actively busy working and working on my business but I had my vulnerable moments. I prayed to god and realize I need to focus on myself and be happy with being single. I just turn 35 and will not act on desperation or vulnerability. My faith with god 🙏🏽 is top priority. As long as you walk in faith and trust god he will bless you with the right person. Then he starts going in that he was looking to date someone who can be a mother to his son. He saids his son is not happy since his mother died. I told him that at this age (I'm 55) and not looking to date anyone with kids let alone raise someone else's child. He's 43, I told him, you need to step back and take time for yourself and your son and seek counseling. When you are ready to date, date someone closer to your age. I told him it was nice talking to you, goodbye. I blocked him afterwards.

Hey tony i understand your stance on desperate dating. However i find that men are not approaching women as much these days. Ive been going out to events and putting yourself in situations to be seen. However men are just not approaching. I recently went to an event and the men just stood around and stared at the women or focused on the friends they came with. I dont know whats going on with this generation 🤷🏾

Personally I think technology has made it easier for men to reach out to women through their DMS and not have to face the rejection of a personal introduction. However on the other hand, it has made it harder for some women because men who are not reaching out in your DMs or approaching you in real life and you are just left to wait until a man finds interest. Per my dating coach I tried four different dating sites and EVERY last one had the same men that was on multiple sites, looking for sex, posting old pictures, poor teeth care, emotionally immature, spiritually immature and my coach is in Atlanta. I deleted every last one last month and will never go back to online dating!!!! I accomplished absolutely nada! and waste so much time and energy. Now I'm taking all the steps to get back in line and will listen to this video 6 more times !!!!!!

I totally agree with your perspective about online dating. I never used apps until grad school when one of my close classmates mentioned meeting her now husband on a dating app. Surprisingly, she used an app that is well known for hookups. I used it and met guys who were looking for exactly that. Shortly after this experience, I had an opportunity to date while living abroad in a country where people meet through people they know. Since then, I would never use dating app. I meet people organically better than swiping right and left.

I had to go back and look at this video. Days before the new year, I'm purging and it hurts as I'm being stretch. I'm purging from social media and any forms of dating or anything that will push me back as I'm asking God to deliver me in this area. Desperate dating feel good for the moment but it is SO dangerous emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically. Trying to bounce back and get back in alignment with God after desperate dating will have you on an emotional rollercoaster. The first step is making the decision to stop desperate dating.
